{"id":4606,"date":"2024-12-01T15:05:56","date_gmt":"2024-12-01T08:05:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tayhoa.daklak.gov.vn\/en\/?p=4606"},"modified":"2024-12-01T16:22:06","modified_gmt":"2024-12-01T09:22:06","slug":"general-introduction","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tayhoa.daklak.gov.vn\/en\/general-introduction\/","title":{"rendered":"General Introduction"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tay Hoa is a district located in the southwest of Ph\u00fa Y\u00ean Province, officially established under Decree No. 62\/2005\/N\u0110-CP dated May 16, 2005, following the division of Tuy H\u00f2a District into two districts: \u0110\u00f4ng H\u00f2a and Tay Hoa. It officially commenced operations on July 1, 2005.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The district center is situated in Phu Thu Town, which houses the headquarters of the District Party Committee, Government, Front, mass organizations, and various provincial and central agencies operating within the district. It serves as the administrative, political, economic, cultural-social, and national defense-security hub of the district.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The district comprises 11 administrative units at the commune level: Ho\u00e0 Binhq, Ho\u00e0 Phong, Hoa Phu, Hoa My Dong, Hoa Dong, Hoa Tan Tay, Hoa Thinh, Hoa My Tay, Son Thanh Tay, Son Thanh Dong and Phu Thu Town.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The people of T\u00e2y H\u00f2a have a rich cultural tradition and a strong revolutionary spirit. According to the historical records in <em>\u0110\u1ea1i Nam Nh\u1ea5t Th\u1ed1ng Ch\u00ed<\/em>: \u201cIn the year T\u00e2n H\u1ee3i (1611), the Cham people invaded the border region \u2013 The King sent Chief V\u00e2n Phong to suppress the invaders, took the land to establish \u0110\u1ed3ng Xu\u00e2n and Tuy H\u00f2a districts, and placed them under Ph\u00fa Y\u00ean Prefecture, which was part of Qu\u1ea3ng Nam Dinh.\u201d Administratively, T\u00e2y H\u00f2a has a history of over 400 years, developing alongside the broader Ph\u00fa Y\u00ean region.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Revolutionary Tradition<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As a heroic land during the two resistance wars against French colonialists and American imperialists, T\u00e2y H\u00f2a boasts 9 out of 11 communes and towns recognized as &#8220;Hero of the People&#8217;s Armed Forces&#8221; (except for S\u01a1n Th\u00e0nh \u0110\u00f4ng and S\u01a1n Th\u00e0nh T\u00e2y, which do not yet meet the requirements). As of October 15, 2022:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>The district has 2,278 martyrs, 403 &#8220;Vietnamese Heroic Mothers&#8221; (7 still living), 3 Heroes of the People&#8217;s Armed Forces, 488 wounded soldiers (367 still alive), and 158 war invalids (117 still alive).<\/li>\n<li>It includes 558 individuals imprisoned by the enemy (288 still alive), 115 individuals exposed to toxic chemicals during the war (84 still alive), 859 people recognized for assisting the revolution (129 still alive), 2,149 relatives of martyrs (318 still alive), and 8 individuals recognized for their efforts in national liberation and international duties.<\/li>\n<li>Two cooperatives, H\u00f2a B\u00ecnh 1 and H\u00f2a Phong, have been awarded the title &#8220;Hero of Labor.&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the protracted wars, T\u00e2y H\u00f2a was a revolutionary base, where fertile lands were devastated by bombs, turning them into barren white zones. At its establishment, the district faced numerous socio-economic challenges, including underdeveloped infrastructure, a lack of qualified personnel, low economic starting points, uneven educational levels, and a high poverty rate.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Development Achievements (2005\u20132022)<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Despite immense difficulties, the Party Committee, authorities, armed forces, and people of T\u00e2y H\u00f2a united and worked tirelessly, achieving significant milestones over 17 years:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong>Economic Restructuring<\/strong>: The economic structure shifted in the right direction, reducing the proportion of agriculture-forestry-fisheries while increasing the share of industry, commerce, and services.<\/li>\n<li><strong>New Rural Development<\/strong>: The national target program for building new rural areas achieved remarkable results, making T\u00e2y H\u00f2a a provincial model for advanced rural development.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Social Progress<\/strong>: Significant improvements in education, healthcare, and social welfare.
